The BPI-Philam Odyssey Philippine Dollar Bond Fund invests primarily in the Odyssey Philippine Dollar Bond Fund, a Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) established under the authority of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). The fund is classified as a long-term bond fund for aggressive investors where the fund's objective is to achieve capital appreciation and income growth in U.S. dollar terms by investing in a diversified portfolio of U.S. dollar-denominated fixed-income instruments issued by the Philippine government, corporations, and financial institutions. It aims to outperform its benchmark which is the JP Morgan Chase Asia Total Return Philippines Index. This fund will be managed by the Bank of the Philippine Islands through its Asset Management and Trust Corporation (AMTC).
